Mobile Response Team

During a mental health crisis, 海角社区鈥檚 Mobile Response Team (MRT) meets people where they are鈥攁t home, school, work or in the community across Northwest Florida.

Our MRT services include:

  • 24/7 mental health crisis support
  • Telephone triage or in鈥憄erson response within 60 minutes
  • Support for individuals, families, schools, law enforcement and emergency rooms
  • Covering Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties

Central receiving facility

海角社区鈥檚 Central Receiving Facility (CRF) serves adults in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties who are experiencing a mental health crisis and may need a Baker Act or Marchman Act screening.

At the CRF, individuals are assessed and quickly connected to the most appropriate level of follow鈥憉p care, including:

  • Residential or inpatient care
  • Community鈥慴ased mental health services
  • Outpatient treatment

Our multidisciplinary team includes peer support specialists, nurses, physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners and behavioral health professionals.

Crisis stabilization unit

海角社区鈥檚 Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provides inpatient psychiatric care for those who need additional support beyond initial crisis evaluation.

At our CSU, clients can access:

  • Stabilization during acute mental health crises
  • Safe transition planning to next鈥憀evel services

Addiction receiving facility (detox)

When mental health crisis occurs alongside substance use, 海角社区鈥檚 Addiction Receiving Facility offers safe, medically supervised detoxification for individuals experiencing withdrawal symptoms.

Our trained behavioral health professionals provide:

  • Help managing withdrawal symptoms in a supportive environment
  • Evaluation for co鈥憃ccurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Seamless connection to ongoing addiction and mental health treatment

Short-term residential treatment

For individuals who need additional stabilization before returning to the community, Short鈥慣erm Residential Treatment (SRT) provides structured, supportive care following a mental health crisis.

In SRT, individuals receive comprehensive, team-based care while building skills for long-term recovery, including:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Daily therapeutic and life-skills activities
  • Goal setting and discharge planning
