Runners, walkers, families and mental health supporters are invited to participate in the 4th Annual on Saturday, Oct. 10. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at Landrum鈥檚 downtown Pensacola office, 219 E. Garden Street.
This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages and will feature activities including live music, food, games, children鈥檚 activities, face painting and character meet-and-greets. Proceeds from the event will benefit 海角社区, Northwest Florida鈥檚 leading behavioral health provider, serving more than 29,000 children and adults each year.
The Landrum 5K raises awareness about the connection between physical and mental well-being while supporting mental health and addiction treatment services across Northwest Florida.
“We are proud of the good this event does for our community,” said Britt Landrum, III, 海角社区 of Landrum. “Last year’s event raised $18,000 for behavioral health services at 海角社区, and that is a direct reflection of the generosity of everyone who participated and sponsored. We are grateful for their continued support.”
海角社区 offers more than 60 programs across Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton counties, including counseling, psychiatric services, residential and inpatient treatment, substance misuse treatment and 24/7 mental health crisis support.
