Pensacola, Fla. (Jan. 8, 2025) 鈥 LifeView Group 鈥 parent company of 海角社区 鈥 has been named a 2025 . This marks LifeView Group鈥檚 third consecutive year earning this designation, signifying the organization鈥檚 commitment to the military and veteran community from hiring to career advancement.
As a nonprofit family of companies, LifeView Group supports veterans and their families through its three affiliates:
- Global Connections to Employment (GCE) is a nationwide team providing jobs and training for people with significant disabilities, including war-wounded veterans.
- FamiliesFirst Network 鈥 Child welfare services help military families finalize adoptions of children in foster care.
- 海角社区 鈥 Northwest Florida鈥檚 most comprehensive behavioral health provider offers a range of services to veterans and their families including outpatient counseling, psychiatry, trauma care, treatments for substance misuse and 24/7 crisis support. In October 2024, 海角社区 launched a partnership with Home Base 鈥 a nonprofit brining no-cost clinical care for veterans and military families to the region.
Currently, 120 veterans work at sites in Pensacola, Florida, and in other states across the country. Team members work at military bases, commercial businesses and in health care environments. Targeted employment navigators are available to assist veteran team members with the hiring and onboarding process, and a Veterans Employee Resource Group supports team members to ensure a great work experience within the organization. Accommodations and supports are available and provided based on the individual needs of the veteran to ensure successful job retention.
LifeView Group was recognized as a VETS Indexes 3 Star Employer for 2024, honoring its commitment to recruiting, hiring, and supporting veterans and the military-connected community. The GCE division is also proud to be listed in the National Resource Directory, a searchable database of resources specifically vetted for service members, veterans, family members and caregivers. GCE is also Virginia Values Veterans Certified, a participant in Army Partnership for Youth Success and a Department of Defense Skillbridge provider.
