Britt Barnes, case manager on the FACT Team, has been named 海角社区鈥檚 Team Member of the Quarter for her exceptional dedication and advocacy.
Recently, Britt worked alongside a colleague to assist a client who had been declining in health. The team was unsure of the cause, but the client was experiencing pain and had recently been hospitalized.
When her colleague had to leave for the day, Britt made the decision to stay with the client in the emergency room to ensure all necessary information was communicated accurately.
Tasa Isaak, who nominated Britt, shared, “Her advocacy was instrumental鈥攕he stayed until 8 p.m., missing her own birthday dinner with family, to ensure the client was taken care of and advocated for appropriately.”
